Iran's security forces killed and injured several members of the Mujahedden Khalq organization as they were trying to enter Iran from the Iraqi border, a statement by Iran's interior ministry was quoted by Iran's News Agency (IRNA) as saying Tuesday.
The ministry said it would release complementary press reports on the development later on.
On Sunday, the organization claimed its responsibility for two rocket propelled grenades that hit the Islamic revolution court in Tehran, said IRNA.
The organization has bases in Iraq, with members scattered also in Europe and northern America -- Albawaba.com
