The Center for Career Guidance and Planning (CCGP) of the National Human Resource Development and Employment Authority (Tanmia), has announced the setting up of 11 information bureaus in public libraries across Dubai to provide general statistics and information about the changing requirements of UAE’s job market to the public.

Commenting on the initiative, Saif Ibrahim Al Nuaimi, Director of CCGP said, “Access to these information bureaus will help National jobseekers from all over the UAE, be well aware of the existing job market trends and requirements. It will also serve as a guide to enable them in making the right academic and career choices, which in turn will prove beneficial to potential employers as well.”

Mohammed Jasim Al Oraidi, Head of the Section, Public Libraries, said, “UAE Nationals today have a wide range of career options to choose from, making it important for them to have access to all information related to the various employment opportunities. This innovative step by CCGP of setting up these information bureaus in public libraries across Dubai will go a long way in helping jobseekers make informed choices and prepare them well for the future.”

“We are keen on extending our total support to Tanmia for all their upcoming projects to help UAE Nationals define their career in an environment experiencing significant transformations in technology and industry requirements,” he added.

The initial response to the new information bureaus in the public libraries has been extremely encouraging with several National jobseekers making full use of the facility during their visit to the libraries.
