ALBAWABA - A 9-month-old baby died of a cold inside her tent in Khan Yunis, Gaza, amid the storm and heavy rain.
Storm Byron, which is affecting several countries in the Middle East, is also battering through the Gaza Strip, causing heavy rains and floods inside displaced people's tents.
Sky News Arabic revealed that a baby died of severe cold in Khan Yunis on Thursday.
The baby was identified as Rahaf Abu Jazar from Khan Yunis, Palestinian media outlets detailed, adding that she died after rainwater flooded the tent she was living in.
UN Special Rapporteur Francesca Albanese revealed that Palestinians in Gaza have been left to freeze and starve due to Storm Byron.
