Under the patronage of Syrian President Bashar al-Assad, the 42nd session of the industrial and agricultural market opened in Aleppo Tuesday.
President Al-Assad was represented in the opening ceremony by the governor of Aleppo, Usama Adi who delivered a speech in which he conveyed that “the economic event represented by the opening of the market reflects the development achieved by the different sectors of production”, SANA reported.
Later on, the governor toured the 148 different sections of the market and expressed his admiration for the "developed level achieved by the industry in the various Syrian governorates." (Albawaba.com)
