Turkish dramas are abuzz with news of a big reunion. One of Turkey’s biggest stars, Aras Bulut İynemli, will return to the screen in a brand-new Netflix series called “Eve Giden Yol” (The Road Home).
This project is particularly exciting for fans as it reunites İynemli with Nilperi Şahinkaya. The two previously shared the screen over a decade ago in the legendary series "Öyle Bir Geçer Zaman ki" (Time Goes By). In this new venture, they will play a married couple, shifting the dynamic from their previous roles as cousins.
A High-Stakes Mystery
Produced by the industry giant Ay Yapım, "Eve Giden Yol" is already drawing comparisons to the global phenomenon Lost. The story follows Kemal (played by İynemli), a father of two, and his wife Şebnem (played by Şahinkaya). Their lives take a dark turn when a massive traffic accident occurs during a family trip.
The series will dive into the mysterious and shocking backstories of the accident’s survivors. Directed by the talented Onur Saylak and written by Sevgi Yılmaz, the show is expected to be a psychological thriller that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. Filming is scheduled to begin in June 2026.
