Syrian President Bashar al-Assad received on Saturday the Chairman of the Sudanese National Council, Ahmed Ibrahim al-Taher and an accompanying delegation.
President al-Assad was handed a message from his Sudanese counterpart Omar Hasan al-Basheer, which focused on the existing brotherly relations between the two countries as well as the situation in the Arab arena.
According to SANA news agency, in the course of the meeting, talks dealt with regional developments as well as ways of strengthening cooperation between the legislative power in Arab countries. (Albawaba.com)
