Forty-three people have been arrested since the June 4 collapse of Zeyzoun dam in northern Syria that killed 22 people and flooded several villages, Syria’s Prime Minister Mohammed Mustafa Miro said in a newspaper report Monday.

"From the very first hours after the collapse of the dam, judicial commissions were formed and have pursued the arrests of 43 people," Miro was quoted by Tishrin newspaper. The prime minister stressed "the honesty, neutrality and experience" of the commissions and vowed that "the whole truth will be announced" once their investigation has been completed.
