Syria’s foreign minister Farouq al-Shara and his Lebanese counterpart, Mahmoud Hamoud spoke by phone Sunday, discussing issues concerning resolutions adopted in the March Arab summit in Beirut, it was officially reported.
SANA said the two sides exchanged viewpoints regarding a meeting of the Arab follow up committee, which emerged from the recent Beirut summit.
The committee, which groups foreign ministers from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Syria, Lebanon, Jordan, Yemen, Tunisia and Morocco as well as Arab league secretary general Amre Moussa, is scheduled to meet in Cairo next week. (Albawaba.com)
