Syrian Economy and Foreign Trade Minister, Ghassan Rifae received a delegation representing the European Investment Bank, led by Jim McFerson, SANA reported on Monday.
In the course of the meeting, talks focused on following up the execution of the Memo of Understanding (MoU) signed between Syria and the European Investment Bank on financial cooperation, through the transfer of projects to the public sector and to ensure a credit line for financing various small and medium private sector projects, the agency said.
In addition, both sides discussed a joint venture of establishing a Syrian Development Bank in the form of long term loans and stocks, it concluded. (Albawaba.com)
