ALBAWABA - The Islamic Republic of Iran Broadcasting (IRIB) headquarters said that a U.S. F‑35A Lightning II transmitted the emergency code 7700 on Monday morning.

The fighter jet, flying over the Sea of Oman, changed its route after the signal and made an emergency landing at Al Dhafra Air Base in the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

According to the Iranian broadcaster, this is the second incident in the past 24 hours.

In addition, IRIB posted on Sunday evening, "An enemy drone in the southwest of Iran was shot down by the Iranian Army's air defense."

Yesterday, Iran handed over its response to the American side via Pakistan regarding the US proposal to end the war. However, President Donald Trump rejected it, calling the response "totally unacceptable".

Tasnim news agency said that the response included an immediate end to the war on all fronts, a lift of the U.S. naval blockade of Iranian ports and guarantees of no further attacks on the Persian country.
