Five Lebanese fishermen were detained Friday by the Syrian coastguard patrol. The Lebanese who were on board a Syrian fishing-boat had not any documents to prove their identities, were transferred along with a Syrian national - the owner of the boat - to the relevant authorities, <i>SANA</I> reported.
The detainees will be charged of having no fishing licenses in violation of the fishing regulations.
