Sudan Denies China Wanted to Install Missiles on Coast

The Sudanese government denied press reports Saturday that China set as precondition installing long-range missiles on the coasts of the Red Sea off the Sudanese coasts to invest in Sudanese oil fields, reported ArabicNews.com.  

A Sudanese defense official was quoted in a statement as saying that such reports are groundless lies and part of a campaign that aims at distorting the image of Sudan and China.  

The London- based al-Zaman Arabic daily said last week that Chinese officials demanded the installment of long-range missiles if Sudan wants Chinese investments – Albawaba.com
