Sudan’s cabinet reshuffle will be postponed until the signing of the peace agreement between the government and the Sudanese Revolutionary Front (SRF) which is set to take place on Oct. 2, local daily Sudan Tribune reported on Tuesday.

“The prime minister informed us that he has postponed the ministerial reshuffle until the signing of the peace agreement,” member of the Central Council of the Forces for Freedom and Change (FFC) Ahmed Hadara said.

He also said that FFC is considering the formation of new ministries to enable the SRF to join the government, as agreed in the peace agreement.

According to the agreement, the SRF will nominate five ministers in the government.
