A Spanish exhibition will be held in Egypt in February which showcases the products of about 100 Spanish companies, reported Egypt Online.
It added that a high-ranking Spanish delegation will visit Egyp in that period for talks with senior Egyptian officials on ways to boost ties between the two countries.
Egypt’s ambassador in Spain, Hussein Haridi, said that the delegation also is expected to hold a dialogue with Egyptian intellectuals and journalists on the Euro-Mediterranean Cooperation.
The ambassador regretted some Egyptian authorities' carelessness in dealing with Spain which assumes the next chairmanship of the European Union, according to the online news service.
"We have to change the viewpoint that Spain is only the land of bull fighting and football.” He said.
Spain ranks sixth among the leading investor countries worldwide and produced the Rolls Royce engine for aircraft as well as it contributed to manufacturing Ariene rocket which carried the Egyptian Satellite to outer space, he added – Albawaba.com
