SonicWALL Expands Senior Europe Sales Role to Accelerate EMEA Region Development Extended role for Marvin Blough supports increased focus on channel and sales development throughout the region

SonicWALL, Inc. (Nasdaq: SNWL) a leading provider of continuous data protection and network, Web and email security solutions, has announced the appointment of Marvin Blough to the role of vice president, EMEA sales at SonicWALL. Blough was previously vice president, Europe Sales at SonicWALL. In his expanded role, Blough will lead the company’s go-to-market strategy in Europe, the Middle East and Africa. In his prior SonicWALL role as vice president, Americas sales, Blough oversaw the restructuring of SonicWALL’s channel programs, maintaining a pure play channel strategy, and reinforcing a set of best practices designed to create profitable and sustainable business models for the channel. As a result, SonicWALL resellers voted the company winner in the VARBusiness Annual Report Card awards for three consecutive years. “The move will accelerate the development of our channel programs and help drive strategies for growth and channel profitability in new and existing markets across the region,” said Matthew Medeiros, president and chief executive officer at SonicWALL. “Marvin has demonstrated outstanding capabilities in building the success and profitability of our operations in Northern Europe.
