Diners at Zaitoun, the signature restaurant at the five-star beach resort Danat Resort Jebel Dhanna, can take home a reminder of their trip, with the handpainted ceramics and silver bracelets that are used in the restaurant.
The jewel in crown of Danat Resort Jebel Dhanna, Zaitoun combines elegant décor and top-class cuisine. General manager Manoj Kanwal said: “Zaitoun is beyond the mainstream Arabic offerings both in cuisine and location.
“Extra touches include the studded silver bracelets which serve as napkin rings during the meal and given to diners as souvenirs after dinner,” said Kanwal. “We want guests to take home a little piece of Zaitoun when they leave.”
Zaitoun’s cuisine is influenced by Italy and the Arabian peninsula, and the fine-dining menu includes home-made pasta.
Warm and inviting, Zaitoun is open from 1900 hrs to 2330 hrs and is closed on Saturdays. The restaurant also has a private dining room, which is available for groups of 10 to 16 guests.
Danat Resort Jebel Dhanna is owned and operated by Danat Hotels & Resorts, a division of the National Corporation of Tourism & Hotels based in Abu Dhabi. The property is the first five-star deluxe resort on the west coast of the UAE and is set to become the flagship for tourism development in the region.
Danat Hotels & Resorts, a division of the Abu Dhabi-based National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCT&H) will manage two new five-star resorts, the Danat Resort Jebel Dhanna and the Al Raha Beach Hotel, as well as a cluster of four-star properties in the emirate. The hotels are either owned and/or managed by the group, or where the group is the owner-representative.
The National Corporation for Tourism & Hotels (NCT&H) was formed in 1996 in response to the need to develop both tourism and commerce in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), especially Abu Dhabi.
The Corporation was formed as a semi-government organisation. NCT&H’s primary objective is to promote Abu Dhabi as an international destination, manage hotels and provide transportation and industrial catering services.
