Several dead following failed Channel crossing attempt

ALBAWABA - According to official French reports, several migrants have lost their lives as they were attempting to cross the English Channel.

Less than two weeks after the worst migration catastrophe of the year, many migrants lost their lives overnight on Saturday and Sunday while attempting to cross the Channel from France to England, according to French regional officials.

The Pas-de-Calais prefecture stated, "Several migrants lost their lives," without stating how many people died.
