Advanced Electronics company of Saudi Arabia is to supply its highly sophisticated binoculars and telescopes to the French company, TALIS, both companies agreed in Dubai.
According to UAE’s official news agency (WAM), the two companies signed an agreement at the ongoing International Defense Exhibition and Conference, IDEX 2001.
Under the agreement, the Saudi company will sell to TALIS, formerly known as Thompson Company, the +Sophi+ infrared ray binoculars.
A cooperation agreement was signed in May 1999 between the two companies. The French company placed then an order for the sophisticated binoculars, which have strong and clear distant vision capability both during the day and night and can be used for both civil and military purposes, said WAM – Albawaba.com
