Saudi Foreign Minister Prince Saud al-Faisal arrived Saturday in Tunis for a one-day working visit aimed at reinforcing bilateral relations, reported AFP.

The Saudi minister will hold talks with his Tunisian counterpart, Habib Ben Yahia, three months after Ben Yahia traveled to Saudi Arabia.

At some 600 million dollars, private investment by Saudi residents in Tunisia exceeds investments from other Arab countries, said AFP.

Some 8,000 Tunisians, mainly teachers and health care and hotel workers, live in Saudi Arabia.

Kuwait's News Agency (KUNA) reported last week that the Saudi minister will also pay a visit to Morocco.

KUNA added that Prince Saud is expected to co-chair a Saudi-Moroccan joint committee meeting scheduled to be held in Rabat next Tuesday.

Moroccan foreign minister Mohammed Benaissa visited the Saudi capital last November, said KUNA -- Albawaba.com
