ALBAWABA - TASS state news agency announced that a Russian military cargo plane crashed near the capital Moscow, during tests after it was repaired.
TASS added, citing the Russian Defence Ministry, that the Russian military cargo plane had seven people on board before crashing in the Ivanovo region.
"Today in the Ivanovo region, during a test flight following repairs, an AN-22 military transport aircraft crashed," the ministry said in a statement.
The ministry further mentioned that the crash happened in an uninhabited area, as rescue teams were dispatched to search for people who were on board the Russian military cargo plane and a probe was opened into the case.
