The Royal Film Commission Sponsors a Physical Theatre Workshop & a Drama History Seminar

The Royal Film Commission announces today a workshop in Physical Theater that will be held at the Royal Cultural Centre from Tuesday May 2 until Thursday May 5, 11:30 AM until 1:30 PM.  The workshop will be taught by Mrs. Majd Al Qasas, who is an award- winning Jordanian actress and theatre director, who obtained her Masters degree in physical theatre from Royal Holloway College in London.

RFC invites interested applicants who are physically fit and experienced in the fields of dance and drama, to fill in the application form and submit it to programs@film.jo  before the 23rd April.

RFC is also sponsoring a one-day seminar on Drama History, which will take place at Al Hussein Cultural Centre, on May 20th 2006, from 10 am until 5pm.  This seminar will also be taught by Mrs. Majd Al Qasas, and will be free of charge, open to everyone.

The Royal Film Commission of Jordan was established in July 2003 with a mandate to develop and promote an internationally competitive Jordanian audio-visual industry through the advancement of human, technical and financial capacity in addition to providing comprehensive production support services to local, regional and international productions. The Royal Film Commission is a financially and administratively autonomous Jordanian government body led by a board of Commissioners chaired by His Royal Highness Prince Ali Bin Al-Hussein.
