Turkish scientists at the Marmara research center developed a cheap and effective vaccine for the foot-and-mouth disease which caused plagues all around Europe, the Cumhuriyet reported Wednesday.
Last experiments on the vaccine are being carried out currently, the daily said.
Scientists were quoted by the paper as saying that they could produce enough vaccine for all animals in Turkey if they had the fund to work at the laboratories, adding that they were the first scientists in the world who found such an effective and cheap vaccine against the disease – Albawaba.com
