Two or three al-Qaeda cells still operate in the Saudi Kingdom despite a major investigation and at least 11 arrests since the recent Riyadh bombing, a high-ranking official close to the investigation told Time magazine.

According to the report, FBI director Robert Mueller will make an unannounced visit to Saudi Arabia this week to thank the Saudis for their cooperation and keep the investigation moving forward.

A US-Saudi task force has already conducted over 400 joint interviews and FBI evidence recovery technicians are working with their Saudi counterparts to collect explosive residue and other forensic clues in the Riyadh wreckage, the magazine added. (Albawaba.com)
