The Shaikha Latifah bint Mohammed bin Rashid Award for Childhood Creativity has announced the activities of the Read Program, according to Khaleej Times.
During a press conference held at the Dubai Press Club, Amina Al Dabous, executive director of the award, stated: “The program is a pioneering one and is in line with the instructions of the President, His Highness Shaikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who has a great vision for education and culture. “The book is a source of knowledge and culture. From this aspect, the idea of the Read Program was developed by Shaikha Latifa.”
The program’s goal is to ensure the role of Islam and the Holy Quran, preparing an ideal atmosphere to encourage children to read and educate families on the significance of reading. (Albawaba.com)
