A strong earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.7 collapsed two empty houses and caused cracks in several buildings in southeastern Turkey early Sunday. No injuries were reported, officials said.
The quake hit the town of Puturge of southeastern Malatya province, about 700 kilometers southeast of the capital Ankara, just before dawn at 4:48 a.m. (local time). (Albawaba.com)
