Quake hits Southern Iran

In Iran, an earthquake measuring 2.7 degrees on the open-ended Richter scale jolted the town of Kouhbenan, in the southern province of Kerman, early Sunday.  

 

The district governor of Kouhbenan, Ahmad Khaledi, told IRNA news agency that the quake took place at 03:26 (local time). No reports of casualties or damage were reported. (Albawaba.com)
