Qatari Minister of state for foreign affairs, Ahmad bin Abdullah Al Mahmoud on Monday received the Australian ambassador to Qatar, Hines Stuart John on the occasion of the expiry of his term of office in Qatar.
The minister of state wished the outgoing ambassador success in his new post and further progress and prosperity to relations between the two countries, according to QNA.
For his part, the Australian ambassador expressed respect and gratitude for the fruitful cooperation he had with all state organs during his term in office, which contributed to the development of relations between Australia and Qatar.
