ALBAWABA - Today marks the second anniversary of the October 7 event, when Hamas fighters launched a surprise attack against Israel under an operation called "Al-Aqsa Flood." In response, Israel launched its harshest attack on the Gaza Strip.
Since the start of the war, the Gaza Ministry of Health confirmed the death of at least 67,139 people, including over 20,000 children, with an additional 169,583 people sustaining injuries. On the other hand, Israel said on Monday that 1,150 soldiers have been killed since October 7, 2023.
Since 2023, Israel has carried out a series of assassinations against prominent Palestinian, Arab, and Iranian figures.
