European Commission President Romano Prodi held talks Wednesday Cyprus Finance Minister Markos Kyprianou who was proposed by the Commission as the island’s first EU commissioner, CNA reported.
Kyprianou said afterwards “it was a very good meeting during which we discussed, further to the procedure, substance issues which concern the incorporation of the ten new Commissioners in the Commission college”.
