Some 360 companies participated in the successful launch of Yemen's first Yellow Pages for 1999/2000.
The Yemen Times reports that the head of the company that made the directory, Nuaman M. Al-Badani, said that 25,000 copies would be distributed for free to all businesses, government authorities, traders, hotels, travel agencies, industries and other commercial establishment. The numbers of companies participating in next year's edition is expected to jump to 1,400. The guide includes phone numbers, faces and email addresses.
