Preparations are underway for establishing three major industrial zones in Yemen, said Minister of Industry and Trade Abdul Rahman Mohammed Ali Othman on Saturday.
The minister said that the three projects are mainly funded by the private sector, the official Yemen’s news agency Saba cited him as saying.
“These project will contribute to the country’s economic growth,” said the minister.
He added that the government, in coordination with the private sector, is studying proposals for setting up five other industrial zones in the country – Albawaba.com
