Portugal education minister calls for strengthening ties with Iran

Portuguese Education Minister Jose David Gomes Justino in Lisbon Monday called for further expansion of Iran-Portugal educational cooperation.  

 

During a meeting with Iran's Ambassador to Lisbon, Mohammad Taheri, he expressed his country's readiness to promote scientific ties with the Islamic Republic, IRNA news agency reported.  

 

As to the importance of technical and professional training, he stated his country is trying to set up constructive relations between the industry and education sectors.  

 

The Iranian envoy also announced Tehran's readiness to  

further advance educational and scientific relations with Lisbon, the official agency concluded. (Albawaba.com)
