Authorities in Kuwait have released five Pakistanis arrested last week for filming the coastal residence of Kuwait's First Deputy Premier and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmad al-Sabah, a newspaper reported Monday.
Al-Qabas said the five men, held by state security since their arrest on Friday were merely admiring the arches at the entrance to Sheikh Sabah's seaside palace.
The men, who are interested in architecture, are no longer under suspicion, the daily added.
Local newspapers had reported that the five men were spotted taking video footage of Sheikh Sabah's house and were later arrested in a restaurant. (Albawaba.com)
