Pakistani Foreign Secretary Riaz Khokhar left on Monday for Iran for talks on Afghanistan and other matters of mutual interest, according to officials.
Khokhar is set to deliver to Iran’s President Mohammad Khatami a message from his Pakistani counterpart Pervez Musharraf and meet with Foreign Minister Kamal Kharazi in the course of the two-day visit, the foreign ministry in Islamabad said in a statement, cited by AFP.
Khokhar is also to review with Iranian officials the situation in Afghanistan and in Kashmir. (Albawaba.com)
