The value of the Sultanate’s Gross Domestic Product (GDP) rose by 6.3% last year to 8302.4 million from RO.7809.1 million over the year. The third issue of the monthly statistical bulletin released by National Economy Ministry indicated that the value of non-petroleum activities as at the end of December 2003 stood at RO 3470,2 million, compared with RO 3257,4 million during the same period a year ago; up by 6.5%.
