Bahrain has invited international oil drilling companies to explore the Gulf state’s oil fields and invest there, Prime Minister Shaikh Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa said Saturday.
The premier’s remarks came during the opening ceremony of the 12th Middle East Oil Show (MEOS 2001), said the Gulf Daily.
“Bahrain will now intensify oil drilling efforts and the Emir has urged world oil companies to come to Bahrain,” he said.
