A Nigerian found guilty of stealing in the Saudi kingdom had his right hand amputated on Sunday in keeping with Islamic law, the interior ministry announced.
"Issa Mohammad Ali had his right hand amputated from the wrist for having stolen from inside the Grand Mosque" complex in Mecca, the holiest site in Islam, the ministry said, according to AFP.
