Network International, the region’s most comprehensive card solutions provider, recently signed a new agreement with Bank of Sharjah to facilitate its personalisation service for their Smart Credit Cards.
Bank of Sharjah is one of the first national banks to launch chip-enabled credit cards in the United Arab Emirates. They are in the midst of an ongoing drive to provide their customers with the most reliable, secure and convenient credit card available. Said Mr. Varouj Nerguizian General Manager of Bank of Sharjah, “Network International, with its extensive portfolio and experience in handling Smart Credit Cards for other leading banks in the region, was the obvious choice to team up with and take this process forward. Network International’s proven technical expertise in credit card services and the fact that it is the only EMV certified bureau in the region will greatly aid us in our mission to make things easier for our customers.”
Smart cards greatly improve the convenience and security of any transaction. They provide tamper-proof storage of user and account identity. Smart Cards also provide vital components of system security for the exchange of data throughout virtually any type of network. They protect against a full range of security threats, from careless storage of user passwords to sophisticated system hacks. Multifunction cards can also help in network system access and help store valuable data.
Mr. Ram Chari, Senior Manager of Network International said, “We are delighted with our agreement with Bank of Sharjah. This is another important landmark in our vision for a region that is completely connected to the huge benefits associated with smart card technology.”
Network International regularly upgrades its credit card terminal software to offer the fastest and the easiest way to accept cards, and is the only company that offers a full range of card processing solutions. It specialises in managing and processing card payment solutions, ATM sharing services, merchant acquiring, e-commerce solutions and chip card programmes.
