ALBAWABA - Dutch police said that at least one person was killed and several others were injured in a blast that rocked a site in the Port of Rotterdam, the Netherlands media reported on Thursday.
The police said an explosion took place midday Thursday, leaving one dead and others wounded, the Dutch News website said.
The blast occurred at a company on the Moezelweg in Europoort, regional broadcaster Rijnmond said.
However, the police didn't give any extra details about the cause of the explosion. Emergency services were dispatched to the location.
Six ambulances, a trauma helicopter and fire crews were at the scene of the blast in the Port of Rotterdam.
Multiple people were taken to hospital.
