A minor earthquake hit Israel, Jordan and the Palestinian areas early on Monday but no injuries or damages were reported.
The tremor measured 4.3 on the Richter scale, causing beds to shake in the West Bank town of Jericho. The epicentre of the quake was in the Jordanian town of Dir Alla in the northern Jordan Valley.
