Syrian Information Minister, Adnan Omran has denied Israeli allegations concerning the presence of Osama bin Laden’s al-Qaeda members in Syria.
In a statement to Monte Carlo Radio, cited by SANA, Omran said that these accusations don’t deserve to be commented on and constitute a condemnation of the Israeli press itself. He indicated that Israel made up such lies in order to harm Arab-American relations and United States interests throughout the region.
The Minister added that these accusations are aimed at covering up the Israeli crimes against the Palestinian people and escalating tension in the region. (Albawaba.com)
