Egyptian Oil Minister Sameh Fahmi said Friday that his country would host an international conference next October to discuss the future of Middle East and African petroleum and gas strategies.
He was quoted by the official Kuwaiti news agency, KUNA, as telling reporters that five of the top specialized world petroleum groups and company chairmen would take part in the conference.
This is beside representatives of major oil companies and industry bodies, as well as 3,000 world oil and gas experts.
He said deliberations would tackle prominent oil and gas issues in the Middle East and Africa concerning production and marketing strategies.
