ALBAWABA- A massive fire has engulfed and completely destroyed the main stage of the Tomorrowland music festival in Boom, Belgium, just two days before the highly anticipated event was set to begin.

The blaze broke out Wednesday evening, with dramatic footage showing flames consuming the iconic stage structure. The exact cause remains unconfirmed, but early reports suggest pyrotechnics may have triggered the fire during setup or rehearsals.

Tomorrowland organizers have not yet released an official statement. Still, internal sources say damage assessments are underway and emergency teams are working urgently to determine whether the festival's first weekend, scheduled to kick off this Friday, can proceed as planned.

This unexpected disaster has cast grave uncertainty over the festival’s opening weekend, which was set to host thousands of attendees and feature top international DJs.

Tomorrowland is one of the world’s largest and most visually elaborate music festivals. The main stage is typically a multi-million-dollar centerpiece designed months in advance. With such extensive damage, the event's postponement or major restructuring appears increasingly likely.
