Leading Swiss watchmaker Longines has introduced five exclusive jewelry timepieces from its DolceVita round collection, especially for the UAE.
Enhanced by precious stones, the watches feature an impressive choice of gemstones – black and white diamonds, sapphires and emeralds. Just a single timepiece of each design has been made, magnifying their value as collectors’ items.
Reflecting the current trend of jewelry designs in the Middle East, the new exclusive collection draws its inspiration from Longines 2002 DolceVita round chronograph designs.
The collection includes two Longines DolceVita round chronograph watches with a stainless steel case featuring 101 pink or blue gemstones (0.25 carat). The dial face has a date-calendar aperture between 4 and 5 o’clock and both models have a 1/10th of a second totaliser and an hour totaliser.
Inspired by the colours of the animal kingdom, the stainless steel case of the third timepiece is set with a choice of gemstones and semi-precious stones: 25 light orange spessartites, 37 dark orange spessartites, 50 black diamonds and 145 white diamonds totalling 2.93 carats. The watch frame is made of glare-proof sapphire crystal, protecting a white mother of pearl dial enhanced with twelve brown Roman numerals matching its brown leather strap.
The fourth timepiece takes inspiration from vegetal variations. The stainless steel case is set with 148 white diamonds, 46 emeralds and 63 black diamonds (3.23 carats). The white mother of pearl dial is enhanced with green numerals matching its light-green alligator leather strap.
Last but not the least, inspired by the mineral world, the case of this Longines watch is set with 87 diamonds, 111 black diamonds and 100 marcassites totaling 1.39 carats. The dial features beige Roman numerals matching a grey-brown leather strap.
