Lebanese Culture Minister, Gazi al-Areidi stressed that the Syrian military presence in Lebanon comes in the framework of an agreement and cooperation between both governments for a strategic security necessity.
In an interview with London Radio on Monday, al-Areidi said that the misleading media campaign launched by Israel against Syria aims at disconnecting the cooperation and ties between Syria and Lebanon in order to settle the Israeli occupation of Palestine.
