Authorities in Jordan have arrested four people who were planning to sell machine guns and other weapons in Amman.

The four suspects, who were not named, were detained in the Bayader district of west Amman, as they were riding in a car to deliver the weapons, Al Rai reported, quoting official sources.

In its Tuesday edition, the newspaper said nine machine guns, including seven Kalashnikov rifles, two handguns and several rounds of ammunition were discovered inside the vehicle. (Albawaba.com)
