Israeli Water Co. Worker Shot to Death

A worker at Israel’s national water company, Mekorot, was found shot to death Tuesday morning at a pumping station near the town of Lod in central Israel, reported Haaretz newspaper.  

The man, a security guard, was found by another worker who noticed that the guard's handgun was missing.  

According to the police, the motive for the shooting was most likely criminal, although other motives are currently being investigated. 

More than a million residents in the Tel Aviv area were warned not to drink tap water overnight after pollutants were found in the national water supply. The water was declared safe early Tuesday – Albawaba.com
