Israeli warplanes hit what Israeli sources described as "Hizbullah artillery positions" in southern Lebanon on Wednesday after they fired at a kibbutz in northern Israel, Israeli military sources said.
"The airforce hit two Hizbullah posts in southwest Lebanon
after anti-aircraft shells were fired from the general area into northern Israel, hitting a kibbutz and a beach," the sources were quoted as saying by Reuters.
Nobody was hurt in the strikes by Hizbullah, they added.
A Lebanese security source said Wednesday that the Israeli jets bombed the edge of a village in the south of the country. (Albawaba.com)
