ALBAWABA - Israeli military officials said Hamas had recruited hundreds of new soldiers in Gaza in recent months despite Israel's military strikes. The Israeli news site Walla reported on Hamas' capacity to restructure and adapt to combat realities.

fresh Hamas leaders are teaching fresh recruits to counter the Israeli army's tactics, sources said. These recruits work for military commanders Israel has failed to assassinate.

According to Israeli sources, Hamas has been constructing defense lines in portions of the Gaza Strip and adopting unconventional military techniques, notably in the south.

This follows June claims by Israel's Army Radio military journalist Doron Kadosh that Hamas was rebuilding its military. Senior Israeli security officers told Kadosh that Hamas recruited and trained replacement fighters for the war.

The sources said that Hamas is slowly rebuilding its Gaza operations despite heavy casualties and Israeli offensives.

Israeli soldiers continue to strike Gaza's civilian districts and infrastructure. The military operation, which began October 7, 2023, has caused massive destruction and misery.
