ALBAWABA - The Israeli government press office said that the Israeli military is preparing for a major strike on Iran and has increased military censorship on the continuing conflict on many fronts.
According to Israeli Army Radio, the planned attack won't be a small-time occurrence but rather a significant one. According to a military source, "the army is preoccupied with preparations for the attack most of the time," indicating that there would be a strong reaction against Iran.
The insider said that Israel anticipates strong support for its attack preparations from its regional allies.
According to Yedioth Ahronoth, Israeli military authorities met with delegates from "friendly countries" in the morning to plan a reaction against Iran. The journal also said that Washington and Tel Aviv would coordinate the operation, although American planes are not anticipated to take part.
Donald Trump, a Republican contender and former US president, said that Israel need to "strike" Iranian nuclear sites. Trump said, "The answer should have been: strike the nuclear facilities first and address the rest later," in reference to a recent inquiry presented to President Joe Biden about the prospect of Israel striking these nuclear installations. Trump was speaking in North Carolina at the time.
President Biden said on Wednesday that he was against any Israeli attacks on Iranian nuclear facilities. Following Iran's firing of some 200 missiles at Israel, which Tehran said as reprisal for the deaths of Hamas Political Bureau Chief Ismail Haniyeh and Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah, this statement was made.
Although they haven't given a timeframe for action, Israeli military and political officials have promised a massive military response to the Iranian missile attacks. Attacks against Iran's nuclear and oil infrastructure are being called for by certain leaders. Iran has issued a warning that if Israel decides to retaliate for its strikes, it would destroy Israel's infrastructure on a huge scale.
